Amir Khan banned for two years for doping

Former World Champion Amir Khan (34-6, 21 KOs) was banned for two years for an anti-doping rule violation. This was reported by British journalist Michael Benson.

“Amir Khan tested positive with the UKAD for the banned substance ostarine after losing to Kell Brook last year, so he has now been suspended from boxing for two years. Khan has retired since the loss and insists he took ostarine by accident,” the journalist tweeted.

Note that Khan fought Brook on February 20 last year, losing by TKO in the sixth round.
