Bayern won’t buy Cansela from Manchester City

The management of Bayern decided not to buy defender Joao Cancela from Manchester City, who plays for the German champions on loan until the end of the season.

The agreement includes a buyout option for 70 million euros. But Bayern are not going to activate it, and will not even negotiate a buyout at a reduced price.

Since joining Bayern in January, Cancelu has made 10 appearances for the German champions in all competitions, scoring 1 goal and 4 assists.
