Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew (30-3-1, 20 KOs) revealed who Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) should face after defeating Jermain Franklin (21-2, 14 KOs).
“The Franklin fight was a good psychological exercise for Joshua, but ultimately we want to see him come back. Look, the Dillian Whyte fight is personal, it’s a home fight, it has a history. But would you be willing to go out to a local fight again under such high pressure?
Let’s be clear: I don’t think Jermain Franklin was trying to win after the second round. Many fighters are trying to survive. But Dillian comes out to win every second of every round. This will provoke a vicious reaction from a fighter like Joshua.
It will be a bright, just a fiery fight. I don’t care what happens, but it will be an intense fight. And it will last until someone’s light is put out,” Bellew said.
Joshua and White fought in 2015, Anthony won by TKO.
