28-year-old biathlete of the Ukrainian national team Anastasia Merkushina withdrew from the individual race at the 2023 World Championships in Oberhof ahead of the start.
The Ukrainian will prepare for the single mixed relay, which will take place on February 16.
In the individual race, Ukraine will be represented by only 3 athletes – Yulia Dzhima, Anna Krivonos and Lyubov Kipyachenkova.
The race will start at 15:30 Kyiv time.
