The 7th stage of the IBU Cup started in Kenmore, Canada, only a day after the 6th stage ended at the same biathlon stadium.
On March 1, the women’s sprint race took place. Kristina Dmitrenko finished 12th, Nadezhda Belkina finished 30th. Valeria Dmitrenko was entered for the race but did not start.
The top 3 included athletes from Norway (gold and bronze) and France (silver).
A few days ago, 23-year-old Kristina Dmitrenko made her first international start podium in her adult career, winning bronze in the sprint at the 6th stage in Kenmore.
