Boxer Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) doubts that the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) will want to fight him, because the Congolese heavyweight stopped him twice in sparring.
“I stopped him while sparring in Dubai. He knows it too,” Bakole said.
Note that Usyk himself partially confirmed this information last year.
“Were there those who patted me? Yes. Bakole. I think he is one of those who can be singled out, ”Alexander said then.
Bakole also said that he sparred twice with WBA Regular title holder Briton Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) and knocked him out twice.
