Eminent Croatian coach may lead the national team of Ukraine

Well-known Croatian specialist Slaven Bilic can lead the Ukrainian national team. This is reported by an authoritative insider Fabrizio Romano.

“Slaven Bilic is a candidate for a position in the Ukrainian national team in case the UAF decides on an inevitable change of coach. Negotiations are planned to understand the situation. Bilić is highly valued and is free after the chapter of his Watford career is over,” writes Romano.

Bilic was sacked from Watford in early March. Also, the 54-year-old specialist is known for working with Hajduk, the Croatian national team, Lokomotiv, Besiktas, West Ham, Al-Ittihad, WBA and Beiqing Guonan.

Recall that the Ukrainian national team is left without a head coach after the departure of Oleksandr Petrakov at the end of last year. Now Ruslan Rotan temporarily performs the duties of a mentor, the media have repeatedly reported on the plans of the UAF to invite Sergei Rebrov.
