“EPL coaches get fired more and more often. There’s a lot of money at stake.”

West Ham boss David Moyes, who himself is under threat of being sacked, appreciated the fact that two Premier League managers lost their jobs on Sunday.

Leicester fired Brendan Rodgers and Chelsea fired Graham Potter.

“Coaches are in a whirlpool. There are more and more layoffs because there’s a lot of money at stake in the Premier League and if a team is in danger of relegation, it’s a big problem for management.”

“In the life of a coach, there can always be unsuccessful segments. You are a very lucky mentor if you always win and you always have positive periods in your career.”

“The same Brendan Rogers, I’m sure, will not be left without a job. Great mentor,” Moyes said.
