Mircea Lucescu’s former assistant at Shakhtar Antonio Carlos Zago will soon head Brazilian Curitiba.
It is reported that the parties have practically agreed on all the details of cooperation, and literally a few hours separate the 53-year-old specialist from the official appointment.
Zago’s last job in football was Bolivar, which the Brazilian led to the championship last summer, but left his position a few months later.
From October 2013 to June 2015, Antonio Carlos Zago was Shakhtar’s assistant head coach, who at that time was Romanian Mircea Lucescu.
