In the Italian Forni Avoltri, a mixed relay race was held as part of the European Youth Olympic Festival.
The national team of Ukraine in the final discipline was represented by Oleksandra Merkushina, Tatyana Tarasyuk, Ivan Steblina and Mykola Grushchak.
The Ukrainians ran four penalty loops, used 17 spare rounds and took 11th place.
The French team won the race, ahead of Germany in the final spurt. Closed the top 3 Italy.
