Boxer Oleksandr Usyk is confident that the fight against Tyson Fury will still take place, despite problems in negotiations with the British heavyweight.
“The fight did not take place for various reasons. We couldn’t agree, we couldn’t agree on favorable conditions for ourselves … But I think that the fight with Fury will take place, but not as planned, not on April 29th.”
“Now I’m glad I’m at home. I did an incredible amount of work in 3.5 months in the training camp, there was one month left. But everything has stopped, now I’m doing my own thing in Ukraine,” Usyk said.
It is expected that the next opponent will be Daniel Dubois in the mandatory defense.
