Promoter Eddie Hearn is sure that only Tyson Fury’s greed is preventing the fight for all heavyweight titles against Oleksandr Usyk.
“Joshua fought Usyk twice and there were no problems. No questions, no long negotiations. It’s just Fury’s greed. If you want the legacy and all the titles, then you agree to fight. But then you need to accept that you will earn not 100 or 125 million, but 50-60 million.”
“And if you say that Usyk is just a middleweight and there will be no problems at all, then this is easy money. But Fury knows that Usyk is indeed a dangerous opponent. That’s it,” Hearn said.
The fight is tentatively scheduled for April 29, but no agreement has yet been reached.
