Hearing on Pavelko’s appeal against his removal from office canceled

The Kiev Court of Appeal did not hold hearings on Andriy Pavelko’s appeal against his dismissal from the duties of the president of the Ukrainian Football Association.

According to public activist Konstantin Andriyuk, the head of the UAF did not appear in court. Pavelko’s lawyer said that he could not come to court because he was sick with the coronavirus. No new hearing date has yet been announced.

As you know, earlier the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv decided to remove Pavelko from his duties as head of the UAF until May 13, 2023. The relevant request of the prosecutor’s office was granted. Earlier, Andrei Pavelko was removed from his post until March 17 this year.
