Biathlete of the Ukrainian national team Denis Nasyko commented on the 5th place in the relay at the eighth stage of the World Cup in Östersund, Sweden.
“I worked cleanly on fire, I am very pleased with it. Such a result for me is excellent – I did not expect it from myself. But I’m glad it worked out. I tuned in to shoot, as usual. Today all the guys are great. And the result is quite good and speaks for itself.
As always, I went to the maximum, where I went at my own pace, where I wanted to hold on to someone. Overall, not bad. I thank the service for the skis, thank you to the whole team. I fought on the last lap with the Italian, because I knew that there was one more stage behind me and I needed to work it out to the end, ”Nasyko said.
