Former world champion in three weight divisions Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) told why he continues to box.
“I box for legacy. I want to write my name in history. I want to write in history not even my name, but the name of my father, because he made me a boxer. He created a professional, talented boxer out of me.
My father gave me everything. I think I never talked about it in an interview, but I want to say a big thank you and a huge respect to my father,” Lomachenko said in an interview with the ESNEWS YouTube channel.
