It became known how many votes at the UEFA Congress were cast for Pavelko

April 5 in the Portuguese city of Lisbon took place 47th UEFA Congress.

At the UEFA Congress Alexander Čeferin was re-elected President of this organization for the period from 2023 to 2027. The Slovenian was the only candidate, and all 55 UEFA member associations voted for him.

President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andrey Pavelko will remain a member of the UEFA Executive Committee until 2027. It became known that 31 out of 55 delegates voted for him.

This is the smallest result among those who were elected. The representative of Liechtenstein received 27 votes and was no longer elected.

In total there were 11 candidates for 7 positions in the UEFA Executive Committee.

Members of the UEFA Executive Committee for a four-year term are:

Armand Duka (Albania) – 45 votes Jesper Meller-Christensen (Denmark) – 42 votes Petr Fousek (Czech Republic) – 40 votes Levan Kobiashvili (Georgia) – 40 votes Luis Rubiales (Spain) – 40 votes Philippe Diallo (France) – 37 votes
Andrey Pavelko (Ukraine) – 31 votes

Did not pass the barrier and were not elected:

Hugo Quaderer (Liechtenstein) – 27 votes Bjorn Vassallo (Malta) – 25 votes Lisa Claveness (Norway) – 18 votes Rod Petri (Scotland) – 15 votes

At the same time, four functionaries – Duka, Meller-Christensen, Rubiales and Pavelko – were re-elected to the UEFA executive committee.
