Former WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez commented on the failure of the fight with American Gabriel Rosado due to a failed weigh-in.
“I have never missed a weigh-in in 45 of my fights and that was the first and last time. I did not stop trying until the very end, but I just could not lose enough to meet the weight. I will draw the right conclusions and be back in the ring soon. My apologies to boxing fans and my fans as well as Golden Boy and DAZN for this unfortunate incident,” Ramirez wrote on Instagram.
