Boxer Devin Haney is sure that the victory over Vasily Lomachenko will help the American to establish himself as one of the best boxers in the world.
“Everything turned upside down, but not so long ago Lomachenko would not even have mentioned my name. He probably didn’t even know me. But now I’m the one giving him a chance, even though I shouldn’t be doing it. It’s all about legacy and I know I’m going to beat Lomachenko.”
“Besides, it’s a matter of respect. Gradually, I am respected more and more, and after the fight I will receive even more recognition and respect. I want to show that I am the best boxer regardless of weight,” said Haney.
The fight for all lightweight titles should take place on May 20.
