In the Czech Nove Mesto, a single mixed relay took place as part of the seventh stage of the Biathlon World Cup.
The Ukrainian national team, represented by Anastasia Merkushina and Bohdan Tsymbal, took 6th place. At the last shooting Tsymbal earned a penalty circle. In total, the Ukrainians used 8 spare cartridges.
The Norwegian team won the race, the Swiss took second place, and biathletes from Latvia won bronze medals.
