American boxer Devin Haney (29–0, 15 KOs) and Vasily Lomachenko from Ukraine (17–2, 11 KOs) held a press conference dedicated to the duel between them. There was also a duel of views.

Lomachenko came to the event in a T-shirt with the image of Jesus. Vasily actively supports the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The big lightweight fight is set to take place on May 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The boxing show is organized by Top Rank, a promotional company led by Bob Arum.

At stake will be the undisputed world lightweight title. All 4 belts in this weight category belong to Devin Haney, who won them thanks to two victories over Australian George Kambosos.
