Roy Jones entered the ring at 54 against a UFC star. Lost but worthy

On the night of April 2 in Milwaukee (USA), an interesting duel took place at the Fiserv Forum arena.

The famous 54-year-old veteran Roy Jones from the USA (66–9, 47 KOs) entered the ring against a 36-year-old American Anthony Pettisformer UFC champion and debutant in boxing.

Roy Jonesex-world champion in four weight categories, the previous fight was held in February 2018, when he defeated Scott Sigmon by unanimous decision after 10 rounds.

At 54 years old, Roy Jones looked slow but fought with dignity. Anthony Pettis finished his boxing debut with a majority decision victory over the veteran (74–78, 76–76, 75–77).

On the undercard, former UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldu and UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens finished the fight in a draw (57–57, 58–56, 57–57)

Another famous UFC fighter Vitor Belfort fought with Ronaldo Souza and won the 6-round bout on points.
