Former world heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs said he considers Tyson Fury a favorite in a potential fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
“You can’t bet against Fury. Do you understand what I’m talking about? He never lost. You can’t bet against a big guy who moves the way he does. Fury is a big guy, but look at his legs. He has the legs of an ordinary tall boxer and the body of a fat man who does not train. But it helps him. He has no muscles, but the muscles do not fight. So he has this dexterity, he can move, shake his head.
Fury doesn’t always win by knockout. This shows that he is able to go the distance. He’s a huge guy with great stamina. Fury can take a hit, hit himself, move around the ring. He’s dangerous,” Briggs said.
The fight for the title of absolute world champion can take place on April 29 in London at Wembley Stadium.
