Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk reported that he had sent for signature to the British Tyson Fury documents about their fight for the title of the absolute world champion in the heavyweight category:
Usyk broke the news on Twitter: “Key clauses of the deal have been sent to Fury’s side. Deadline set. The clock is ticking. The ball is now on Greedy Belly’s side. We did everything in our power to make the fight happen.”
Boxers and their promoters have been negotiating for a long time about the fight, which was tentatively scheduled for April 29 in London at Wembley. The key hurdle is the issue of distribution of profits from the battle.
The points for agreement were sent to Fury’s side. The deadline is set. The clock is ticking. The ball is on #Greedybelly’s side now. We did everything in our power to make it happen @Tyson_Fury
