The President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Ivan Krulko commented on Kristina Dmitrenko’s victory in the sprint at the IBU Cup in Kenmore, Canada.
“Good start to the seventh IBU Cup in Canada. Congratulations to Kristina Dmitrenko with bronze in the women’s sprint.
The beginning of the competition was not easy, it was postponed due to severe frosts, during the sprint, the athletes were prevented by a strong wind, more than 11 km per hour, but in spite of everything, our biathlete managed to take third place and climb the podium.
Clean shooting, good speed and as a result a medal for the Ukrainian team.
And such a beginning of the competition confirmed that, despite the difficulties, the decision to send our biathletes to compete in Canada was the right one.
We will continue to do everything so that our team takes part in all international competitions, shows results and wins for Ukraine,” Krulko wrote.
