Marthe Olsby Røiseland, 32, from Froland, has announced her retirement from sports at the end of the current 2022/2023 season.

Royseland is the current owner of the Big Crystal Globe for Women. In the 2021/2022 season, she had no equal – she won eight individual races.

Marte Olsby Røiseland is a three-time Olympic champion and 13-time world champion.

She will hold the last starts in her career at the home, final this season, World Cup stage in Holmenkellen.

“I didn’t make this decision yesterday. I thought about it for a long time and felt [такую потребность] during a year. I think the time has come. This is very sad, but also very true.
