The promoter told what awaits Lomachenko in case of victory over Haney

Head of promotional company Top Rank Bob Arum told what the future holds for the participants in the fight for the absolute lightweight championship between the holder of all belts Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) and Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs)

“If Loma wins, then my plan is to make him fight Shakur Stevenson. If Haney wins, I’m not sure that he will continue to compete in the lightweight division. Honestly, I highly doubt it. He’s a pretty big guy. And you can’t do anything against nature. So if Haney beats Lomachenko, I assume that he will decide to move up to light welterweight,” Arum said.

Note that Top Rank represents the interests of both boxers. The fight will take place on May 20.
