There will be a super fight. The date of the fight between Spence and Crawford has become known

Superfight between IBF, WBA and WBC world champion Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) and the owner of the WBO championship belt Terence Crawford (39–0, 30 KOs) will be held in Las Vegas on June 17th.

At stake in a duel between two Americans will be the crown of the undisputed welterweight champion. The official fight announcement is expected to be made on April 22 during the fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia.

There were protracted negotiations between Spence and Crawford last year after Terence’s contract with Top Rank expired. Crawford was close to signing with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions.

Despite endless negotiations, the two sides failed to reach an agreement. As a result, Crawford refused the deal and fought David Avanesyan, knocking him out in the 6th round.

Spence was scheduled to face former 147-pound world champion Keith Thurman. However, Errol got into an accident, and the fight, scheduled for early 2023, never took place.
