Former biathlete of the Ukrainian national team Ekaterina Bekh completed her performance at the Russian Cup ahead of schedule.
The 24-year-old athlete this season played for the Moscow region in the Russian Cup and the Commonwealth Cup.
“Perhaps Catherine will do without surgery, it concerns the maxillary sinuses. While there are options to improve health with conservative treatment. If it doesn’t work out, then you need to have an operation, ”said Alexei Nuzhdov, head of the Moscow Region Biathlon Federation.
Earlier it was reported that the naturalized Russian biathlete could return to the Ukrainian national team.
