On December 29, a new team tennis tournament called United Cupin which both men and women will play. Competitions under the auspices of the ATP and WTA will be held in three Australian cities: Brisbane at the Patrick Rafter Arena, Perth at the RAC Arena and Sydney at the Ken Rosewall Arena. The first match starts at 03:00 Kyiv time.
18 teams were divided into six groups of three teams. Each host city will play two groups. Winners form playoff pairings geographically. The three winning teams in the City Finals, as well as the top-performing one losing team, will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals and final will take place in Sydney.
The format of the meetings between the teams includes two singles matches between men, two between women and a mixed doubles match. There will be one men’s and one women’s singles in each session, with the mixed doubles match being the last in line.
