Promoter Eddie Hearn is sure that the fight Oleksandr Usyk – Tyson Fury will not take place in Saudi Arabia, because it does not cause much interest.
“This is just not a big enough fight to be of interest to Saudi Arabia. And Tyson Fury wants too much money when his opponent will not be Joshua. Probably, Anthony Joshua is the only boxer who could raise the required amount. If it was a fight between Joshua and Fury, Saudi Arabia would have the money.”
“This is the only way Fury will get the money he asks for,” Hearn said.
Apparently, the Usyk-Fury fight, if it takes place, will be in England, since it was not possible to agree with Saudi Arabia.
