18-year-old biathlete of the Ukrainian national team Oleksandra Merkushina commented on winning bronze in the mixed relay at the European Junior Championships in Madonna, Latvia.
“Today is the day of unity in Ukraine. And today we have united to present these medals to Ukraine. Because we are a team with a blue and yellow flag – a symbol of unity,” Alexandra Merkushina wrote on Instagram.
Recall that Alexandra Merkushina climbed the podium along with Darina Chalyk, Stepan Kinash and Vitaly Mandzyn.
