“We can help him restore the level”

Bournemouth coach Harry O’Neill commented on the debut of Ilya Zabarny in the match of the postponed 7th round of the English Football Championship.

“He has done a lot of hard work. Of course, it was a long way to get there, because he played his last match back in December (November 30 against Metalist – ed.). It’s not ideal when a center back is forced to come out this late due to an injury to another player. We are glad that he is with us. Now we can help him restore the level. We have a big match at the weekend,” said the coach.

Note that Ilya entered the field in the 85th minute, replacing Marcos Senesi.
