Heavyweight Martin Bakole will take on Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutsky on Saturday, and African promoter Ben Shalom is hoping a spectacular victory will pave the way for fights against Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk.

“We know that Shevadzutsky has not yet been defeated, so Bakola needs to show explosive boxing. He must knock out the opponent in six rounds. Martin needs to prove himself in order for the big fights to open up for him.”

“For example, against Dubois, and after that Usyk. He wants to fight Usyk,” Shalom said.
