When is UFC 282 taking place? Date, time, channel, and live stream information for Jiri Prochazka vs. Glover Teixeira 2?

Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira rematch inside the octagon after their Fight of the Year contender at UFC 275 in June. Prochazka will defend his UFC light heavyweight title against former champion Teixeira at UFC 282 on December 10.

The rematch will take place inside Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

Prochazka, 30, submitted Teixeira, 43, in the fifth round of a back-and-forth battle. It was Teixeira’s first title defense since winning it at UFC 267. Teixeira previously competed in the UFC for gold in 2014. Following his loss to Jon Jones at UFC 172, he went on an 11-4 run, defeating several opponents, including Father Time.

“I thought I’d retire when I was 35,” Teixeira said to the UFC in 2020. “I never thought I’d be fighting at 40 years old and still enjoy it.” Perhaps it was because I was training so much and overtraining most of the time, which makes you grumpy and stressed. There were a few camps where I thought to myself, “I can’t wait until I retire; I can’t take this any longer.” And now I look at Anderson Silva and (Daniel) Cormier and think, ‘I’m not going to lose to those guys, I’m going to keep fighting.’ (Laughter) I adore this.”

The Brazilian is prepared to level the score with Prochazka. The latter is 3-0 inside the octagon and has a 13-fight win streak. The former RIZIN light heavyweight champion is battle-tested and ready to go toe-to-toe with Teixeira once more.
